But that's the great thing about this board. I take as much heat as anyone so does Beej. There is no 'lock step' with most posters. The only people who REALLY get blasted and are the ones who seem to last the least amount of time are those who can't think critically and their only defense for any position is 'well that's what Jerry would want'. I mean heck, your positions are always wrong but I tolerate your ignorance in hopes of bringing enlightenment to those less fortunate

This right here...if I had a dollar for every stupid thing I said, I'd be a multi-millionaire and would make sure this board was taken care of financially for years to come...some folks on here make me want to and some days I want to after dealing with people on here (Im seeking therapy for that) but at the end of the day, we are all alumni or supporters of this school and want what's best and have some invigorating and enlightening discussion and we look forward to your contributions

Those who have lasted the longest on here have: 1. Thick Skin 2. The ability to be (somewhat) civil in spite of differing opinions 3. Understand that this is a message board where hyperbole and emotions run rampant yet its where we call home. 4. understand that the dark side isn't some monolithic presence here to bash the school but rather a regulatory entity here to bring balance of power against the kool-aide drinkers. 5. Are fluent in sarcasm and have at least a somewhat measurable sense of humor.
