Injured his right hand at the end of Monday's practice. X-rays were performed, but there was no broken bone. He's day-to-day and is questionable for Saturday's game.

Any word anyone can give us on his status for Saturday as we get closer would be great.

I just heard an alternate story (rumor) of how Brew hurt his hand, and it was extremely juicy.

Edit: Nevermind, I'm not saying that until more "facts" come out.

There are just too many rumors going around to know what truly happened. No one from the program is ever going to tell the truth.

hmmm...how else could he hurt his hand....the thing is the only "juicy" thing that comes to mind i can't really say here...

mrich's story is a little unbelievable. I do want to know what really happened though.

Just let it die. This thread has no ability to go in a good direction. It's best to just let it go, move on and hopes we get him back in uniform soon.

No, why should we let it go? Everyone knows that the injury was not a normal basketball playing injury. We have every reason to ask what the real reason was, good or bad. We shouldn't be trying to cover up for our players or anything like that. Coach prides himself on running a clean program full of good kids. If one of his players did something stupid, they shouldn't cover it up and sweep it under the rug.

I heard he hurt it pulling a woman in a wheelchair out of a burning building that wasn't equipped with ramps. He got his finger caught in the little tire brakes on the side.

If that's the case, then tell me that. Don't give me some crap about hurting it at practice.

If that had happened, it would've been front page on the athletic website saying how great of a person he is.

If a tree falls in a forest, and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound. Similar analogy.
Regardless of how it happened, it happened and he's hurt. All the speculation in the world about the untold story of the real reason behind the injury isn't going to make him better.

I just want to know...I highly doubt its anything too juicy...Liberty students are well known for rumors and lack of truth to these rumors, so anything juicy you here it has to be taken lightly I would think..thats not to say I don't like hearing these rumors...because most of the time rumors started around Liberty are priceless

I found out what it was...but please don't tell anyone beyond this board. It's pretty embarrassing for the University.

Brew got hurt after the Asheville game. He went home, got onto the computer and started to read all the post on FlameFans.com. He then proceeded to signup as a guest and began posting. 4 hours later, his hand started to cramp. He went to the doctors and they diagnosed him with Haraflisiounitus, which is another word for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. He was asked to not type anymore for at least 1 month and to limit his time on FlameFans to 1 hour there after.

He is a little embarrased at some of the post, but should recover soon.
