I have no clue where you get off saying that but okay.
Observations of MB when he played. I don't think he was a great leader I may have over spoke and he may have been a good team mate
MB was an excellent leader.

MB did not have much talent behind him at the QB position. His turnover margin was not the best, Jon. We all know this. SM isn't given the same cushion to learn from those turnovers and is not being afforded the patience to overcome them. The coaching staff can't afford to let him overcome them.
MB could throw 3 INTs against Ball State and know he had a job the next week. He could have 2 turnovers in a loss to RMU and know he was still the guy. I'm not bashing MB, far from it. I loved the guy and thought he was a tremendous leader.

However, you cannot convince me he had a better arm then SM, but he was completely entrusted to succeed. SM has not been afforded that and that makes a big difference. 2INTs? SC coming in. 3INTs? Benched the rest of the game. There's no learning or growth opportunity for a 1st year starter. HCTG can't afford that.
Your first sentence sums up a lot
Masha also has had several years to work on his touch and accuracy and that really has not improved.
He also is not the athlete MB was. So it difficult to run the same offense MB did as effectively

Did MB have better hands than SM? Sure. SM is just as fast, elusive and explosive. My point is, I question if he has been given the chance to showcase it all. I say he has not.

I don't think SM is as fast explosive or elusive as MB.

He's not. Mike was better in the open field than Masha is. He was also more accurate as well. Masha has a giant arm but his vision, decision making, and accuracy will keep him from being successful. Most of Mike's interceptions were because he tried to do too much and force a throw as opposed to being inaccurate or staring a receiver down.

When has Masha been in the open field this season? He hasn't been, so your statement can't be confirmed.

Masha has struggled with decision making and staring down WRs. I'll give you that. You think he is inaccurate because of these 2 other factors.

We have more than this season with which to draw conclusions

2015 is a wash.
2014 CSU and CCU are accurate depictions of Masha's abilities. CSU specifically to open field running.

I think you bring good points to this board, and I agree with you far more often than not. But you are so not even close to right on this one point. If you have the ability to rewatch Mike Brown against WVU and tell me Masha could hang with that dude. He can't. At all. He won't sniff the NFL. He's a great kid and a solid QB, but he's not close to the athlete MB was.
I appreciate that actually. I do not argue MB vs. SM as an overall athlete. I don't think SM would make a great WR and there is no way he has the hands or overall ability of MB. My argument was based around SM's true 4.44 speed and ability to make people miss in the open field. MB is the superior athlete, but SM is right there with MB with running ability out of the pocket. I spend too much time watching MB highlights on YouTube. It's addicting. Speed and sideways movement is comparable between the 2 IMHO.
