They were 9-2 last year, and beat Delaware on the road their first game of the season last year. This is their first game of the season. I would take Jacksonville +20.5. New Coach, unfamiliar systems.

The 50+ freshman they have on the roster is mind blowing.

Another contradiction from yesterday:

Gill said the problems at Tech were on the QB and the WRs.

Dailey said the problems were all on the QB.

I'm not nearly as concerned with the score of this one as I am how we look doing it. We will beat them, but how Masha and the OL look doing it is the most important thing this week.

I completely agree with you on this. Both have to improve and I would love to see the RBs show out as well. Hopefully Probert will have the chance to kick a few FGs as well. Experience for him is vital as we move on in the season.

I mean... I'm no prophet, but I'm darn close. Maybe Forbidden will start listening to me a little more?

I am looking for >60%, 225+ yards and 2+ TDs. Does it truly matter if it's on screens and short passes? No, not at all. If that's the way the offense is supposed to be run, then great. If it's efficient and effective, who cares how points are put on the board?

Edit: efficiency and accuracy are more important than stat stuffers for this game.

Glad Masha listened to me this week. I take full credit. Side note, he didn't need screens to display his accuracy - the deep ball looked beautiful this week.
