I hate waiting for IT especially when it is off shore...So I take it those are the guys on the short list that are not allowed back in the Vines? I heard someone mention that but is it really true? I know I have not seen Ray Natili in a while. Duke did the Winthrop game 2 years ago and I have not seen him since. I did see Eades last year though. It was after he blew that call with Duke and FSU. I can't remember which game he did after that but I have not seen him since. I don't know if we have ever won a close game with Natilli officiating. He almost gave me my only technical foul as a college coach back in 97 when I stormed after him during a timeout. He just kept looking at me telling me to get back to the bench. I only wanted to ask him a question....I think the question was "how come you don't like us?" or something like that  He didn't give me the tech but I got quite a few the next year when I was a head coach at William Campbell. Sorry for the hijack but I am more of an accomplis that got sucked in by the Master mind Haize

Don't get me started on Ray Natilli. Can't stand him.

I wish Jamie Lucky still did Big South games though.

Duke is terrible. Everytime he makes a bad call and you let him have it he's always got this cocky grin on his face. It made me want to run on the court and rip his stupid mullet right off. Although, last time I saw him in the vines it looked like he had finally gotten it trimmed off.

he trimmed it, but his gut is growing...that hack is a sideshow, as much of the ACC officials are now...they are bigger than the game.

Wow I was just joking LOL I have no idea who the officials are tonite, but I know that those particular ones are not well loved. (Not that ANY officials are well loved by the LU crowd. Heck there are those who would boo Karl Hess!!)
I am with you on Natilli SCAR. He GAVE me my first "T" as a college coach. King College. The funny thing was he did a Christmas Tournament we were in and we got to rate all the officials. The highest rated got the Championship and on down the line. You guessed it, he did the second game which was like the 8 v 9 or something like that. Looks like I wasn't the only one who had issues with his Hindass, I mean highness

Ok since I contributed to the hijacking of this thread, let me try to bring it back on track...Ok so we are going to have roughly 17 or 18 people at the game tomorrow is that correct? I am amazed that we can get 42000 people on campus for events like a high school football game, a living Christmas tree and a play but we can't get a thousand people to a Radford Liberty game? What is the wide, wide world of sports is going on here? Thomas road alone should be able to put 5000 people in the seats on a given night. Dr. Falwell always talks about how this is a giving church and it is both financially and community service wise. This church is very active and there are thousands of members. Why don't we try to get those folks to come out? I am just asking because I don't know the answers. It would be so much fun to see a full or even a half full Vines for a big game. Richmond Spiders are horrible this year but they had thousands there for VMI when I was there and I know UNC Charlotte on Saturday will be packed. I will be there since I am not working the Winthrop game (maybe you heard me complain about that in other threads no? :)). I need to ask them how they get people to come watch them. Maybe it is history, a sense of community. I just don't know.

ahh I love having this game during break...at any moment I feel our BS commish is doing a good job I just take a look at the schedule

PS. this further proves I do not hate to hate....b/c at one time I couldn't stand Duke, he would just be so blatantly obvious...but towards the end of him doing our games he wasn't...well, quite so bad

Scar,

Are you not going to the LU-WU game? I'm currently trying to convince my fiance and a couple of friends to make the trip up. We'll see how it goes. How far is the drive from Charlotte? What time does the game start?

to be a tad objective- I don't suppose our shutting down in early Dec and not re-opening until nearly FEBRUARY helps the potential scheduling that much :x

It's probably about a 5 hour drive, the game starts at 7.

I will not be able to make either game unfortunately. My brother's final home coming is on Saturday. Saturday?! Man, that sucks. Can't let him down though.

Realist, since I am not actually working the game I am going to save some miles on the new car and stay in Richmond. I am going to be doing my mandatory community service complements of the Farmville traffic court office to work of my latest ticket. SunTrust sponsors games at Richmond so I will be there on Saturday handing out flyers or something. Sorry I won't get to see you Realist if you make it up. And I think the drive is only 3 hours. I know I have done it in 3 but maybe that is why I am always in traffic court

I have a question for some of you guys who downloaded the game on Saturday. Did J Holland see most of his 22 minutes in the second half or was his time spread out?
