Why do we take this??? Come on, the expectations this season have been set at a standard that is below what it should be. Now, the team can still reach those goals, but our team needs to regroup.

it is hilarious for some people to do the same thing and expect a different result.....
Our team needs to head in a new direction, and the applications and resumes should be coming in throughout the rest of the season.

The truth is, Liberty is a sleeping giant. I talk to coaches every day who can't understand why we aren't battling Winthrop for domination of the Big South. We have money, we have a great facility, we have a student body that would respond to a team that could build a tradition of success, and we have every right to expect success. What has Dunton done with these resources.....well he lost Elijah, Dees, Risher, Stewart, Motts, Monceaux and Daniel Rose, who may have been one of the best all around players ever to attend LU. He then proceeded to let Monroe and Porter waste their elegibility while he failed to develop them. And now he will watch Brewington and Blair dominate the ball till he has completed another 6 D-I victory season.....I smell a contract extension... Dunton will NEVER be a winner, because he values image over substance. He wants a team full of Larry Blairs and he can't see that you gotta have a couple Ryan Mantlos to win.

Ok, THAT is a nice name, don't let them take you down. And yes, we ARE a sleeping giant. We have a decidedly huge advantage in the money department because we don't have to "pay" for scholarships. Are facilities are nice, I wouldn't go so far as "great". But we do have one draw back, that would be the Liberty Way. Now that can be overcome. I look forward to the day when we are not battling anyone for BSC supremecy, but they are battling US!!!
