He's not even the best active player right now. But I get that East Coast folks have trouble staying up late enough to watch games west of the Mississippi.

My son received Rockets tickets from his grandparents for Christmas so I am taking taking him to his 1st game of the 4-pack tonight vs. the Hawks.

Bill Russell came out of retirement. True story. I got his autograph. He doesn't do many of those!

Sly your comment almost made me a Lebron fan.

With that said you can keep your clown show in Houston with Dwight and harden

Haize beat me to it.

1. Russell
2. Jordan
3. West
4. Bird
5. Magic

LeBron isn't even in my Top 5. Yeah, I said it.

I just watched Kareem: A Minority of One. Dude gets lost in the shuffle.

I like your 5 and I despise Jordan

Best. Player. Ever.

Twice as good as Jordan

10X the player Steph Curry ever will be.

I love satire.

And for the record, it is tough to leave Wilt out of the Top 5.

jk37 - I see your Mountaineer bias bleeding through your list. #3?

Let me know when he wins multiple titles in a row. Wins a couple of Defensive POY awards. And just for grins and giggles wins a Championship as a player/coach.

I could see Oscar in there over west, but that's my Indiana bias!
I agree with Wilt too, but you can't bump Russell. Unless you bump West for him

As a Cincy native, the Big O will always be in my top 5 favorite players. He stills owns what I believe is the best season in NBA history.

To bolster your earlier argument aren't he and Wilt the only players to average a Triple Double?

Oscar is the only one with that distinction. For those wanting a coronation for the Cavalier, take a look at these numbers for the Big O in '61-'62 playing point for the Cincinnati Royals:

30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 11.4 assists

LeBron isn't even the best player to play for a team in Ohio in NBA history.

VAgolf must be under 18 years old.

Lebron is the most athletic and physical freak of a specimen in the NBA, but he is not even the best player right now. I have a feeling he wasn't being serious about his statement, but there are kids growing up who only know Jordan as some guy on their dad's shoes.

To try and bring the board back to topic:
I got an Apple Watch Sport thanks to work
Cash
LU golf towel - super pumped about this
Box of ProV1 golf balls
2 Cincinnati Reds dri-fit shirts - S/O Sly
Pair of Reds performance socks - came as a surprise, but they are sweet
Blu-Ray DVDs (yes these things still exist) - American Sniper, Lone Survivor and Sandlot 20th Anniversary
Department of the Army - United States of America cuff links.
Devotional
A pullover/hoodie.

Hakeem gets lost in the shuffle as well because he was always in the Jordan era. He was clearly the best player in the NBA the near two years Jordan was out of the league doing his stupid baseball thing. 1994 was Defensive POY, MVP, Finals MVP. 1995 Finals MVP. Without looking, pretty sure he's the only player in NBA history to rank top 13 in career total points, rebounds, blocks, and steals.

Boy, I really did squander my list forgetting Wilt and Kareem. I thought of O, but THAT is when my. Mountaineer bias came out.

I just love Zeke from Cabin Creek.

I know this is late, but my Christmas goes late, and I feel so left out.

Star Wars ep 4-6 (more for the kids to watch, the updates really ruin it for me)
speedloader and cleaning kit for my handgun
gift cards, cash
a leather-band watch
books:
Life Together - Dietrich Bonhoeffer
God's Greater Glory - Bruce Ware
Men to Match My Mountains - Irving Stone

Clock w/ coffee beans in the frame
Steak knives

I actually want a Ruger LCR, but speedloader/magloader, same difference. I'm not completely satisfied with how well it works, but it'll save my fingertips some soreness.
