How many times have you gone on the record to express your hatred for those schools, ballcoach?

I still can't believe you are real...

I've met him in person in the Vines Center: he's real.

Texas schools spend way too much money on their high school football stadiums. We know that already, Sly.

This season I saw a game at Dallas Carter and Odessa Permian. Have to love those one-week work details.

For the record, I despise JMU and Richmond.
You're wrong.

JMU appears to have the easiest path to the semifinals.

Dillion High was pretty modest

I still get chills remembering the atmosphere at Odessa Permian earlier this season...Dallas Carter, not so much.

Inner-city districts have the worst game experiences. Dillon played their games at an old stadium in Pflugerville where I used to do Friday night live shots back three lifetimes ago. It actually is a pretty lame stadium by Texas standards.

Coach Taylor liked it. He liked it a lot better than East Dillon

Coastal fumbles on its last possession and loses to The Citadel, 41-38, on a last second field goal.

A.Ross with a big day but 4 to's will do that to ya

Oh. And 6751 in attendance. That's awful and I don't understand why after years of success

I wouldn't be too harsh on the attendance. 1st round playoff games two days after Thanksgiving have nototriously poor attendance with the students out of town.

I agree 100%, flamehunter.

The students were out for T'giving, so that is part of the problem. (Still pitiful, especially since El Cid brought a good crowd).
CCU has been over-rated all year and their lack of defense/weak,weak, schedule caught up with them. I read somewhere that the combined record of the teams that CCU beat, was something like 20+ games under .500.
They are making the FBS move too early, and probably should have stayed FCS where they would be competitive every year. The future does not look real bright in MB, but who knows, they may do better than expected, I just don't see it working for them. Not sure it will work for us, but we would have a fighting chance, I believe. At least we wouldn't have an attendance problem.

Coastal has always been overrated. They only have a couple wins against respectable programs the last 2 or 3 years. They wont succeed at the next level and the sunbelt deserves it.

...and for all of you that down played the lack of media coverage, guess what, we got (expletive)ing embarrassed by our fan base being outnumbered 3 - 1 by citadel fans... what a joke... will someone please tell me how the (expletive) we are #FBSready? ...what a (expletive)ing joke it was.
Can anyone confirm that?!?!?!

At first I was onboard with the whole, "Oh the attendance was low because it's a Thanksgiving weekend game..." However, if they only had ~6,200 fans in attendance and a majority of those were from the Cid... WOW. :dontgetit

Coastal fans seemed pretty upset with the turn out too. I think there is a feeling among some of the fans over there that the FBS move is not a smart one with the issues they have had with attendance and support.
