OK. I turn away for five minutes and this whole thing blows up. First, I was wondering why I hadn't heard anything about this and then it turns out to be nothing. Gotta love the series of tubes that is the Internet.

By the way, I've generally written off in my own mind anything that Stevev has to say but I can't let this go by unchallenged:

I would hate to loose such a great LB prospect. I am kind of thinking there is more to it than the lack of "college life" at LU. Maybe it had something to do with poor scheduling and playing in a bad conference with no auto berth. There is just nothing to shoot for. No future in it.

Any kid we sign knows all about what conference Liberty plays in well before we sign them. Obviously, the kids we already have on the roster think that there is something to shoot for. Believe it or not, on those occasions when a kid does end up leaving LU, the factors are exponentially more likely to have to do with the same problems that students have at other schools: grades and/or rules.

I thought that it had more to do with the relations with the coach such as playing time, personal interest, and fairness but the things that I mentioned were the first things that came to mind. Anyway since he is staying then it is not an issue now.
