Of course, we have alterior motives other BSC teams don´t in that we need/want their vote in the event the SBC decides to expand again.

Late season openings are also hard to fill. There are plenty of reasons why we want to keep the date. I suspect that Chuck South i trolling the FBS leagues lookign for an extra guarantee game before they sign back up for what should be an obvious choice for them. I understand the reluctance of some of the the other schools.
