Haven't tried it. I conjure up a syrupy taste when I have seen it on the shelves. Do you recommend it, CJ?

I'll have one or two Stewart's Key Lime sodas a year, and they really are pretty smooth. I used to be a barista at my church's coffee bar, where I'd also serve glass bottled sodas, and the Key Lime was always very popular. Yes, Sly, I'd certainly recommend it; olldflame, it does taste like the pie and isn't overly sweet.

Yes, Stewart's Key Lime is delicious and, like Cider has said, does taste like the pie

Good Topic PH.

I enjoyed reading all the names. Out of all the sodas mentioned, and I dont believe its craft, I love Fresca.

It's not craft, either, but I've recently become a Faygo fan, especially the 60/40.

Btw , my grandfather had heart issues and one thing his doctor told him to stay away from was Fresca. Weird.

I am a Fresca fan. It was even made famous by Caddyshack!

I haven't seen that one, but Virgil's root beer is great, so this one's probably worth it.

Do you like citrus drinks, like Mt. Dew, Squirt or Fresca? Then you also like brominated vegetable oil, which is banned in more than 100 countries because it has been linked to basically every form of thyroid disease - from cancer to autoimmune diseases - known to man

Let's keep this to soda. We have other threads for beverages like NYFRB.

I'm sorry. Who started this thread again? :dontgetit

This is an 'adult soda' for sure. But it fits in this thread. Doubt it gets much discussion but it is fine being mentioned here

You started the thread, but pretty sure Sly Fox - with the help of an army of non-Texans - started this board

That said, I ALMOST bought Virgil's Dr. Better this past weekend, but we opted for the pumpkin ice cream as the source of sugary edibles for the week.
