Had I seen some Montana fans where I was tailgating I would have welcomed them...The Doc's diner lot is actually a pretty great place to tailgate!

The Saluki is a sighthound and historically traveled throughout the Middle East and Silk road with caravans and nomadic tribes over an area stretching from the Sahara to the Caspian Sea and China. They have been used to hunt quarry such as gazelles and hare in many countries especially in ancient Iran. Shaped like a typical sighthound, they come in two varieties: smooth and feathered. Though they are an independent breed that needs patient training, they are gentle and affectionate with their owners

With this game being very similar to Indiana State last year, I think our guys will be ready to show they are a better team that the 2014 version of the Flames.

Ill be listening to York. I will watch the replay on ESPN3 eventually, but live action I prefer to hear it from the pro than watch sub par TV announcers.

BTW guys on TV, Jeremy Peters is a Freshman Corner, yes he returns kickoffs and occassional punts, but if you see the #3 on offense, its Stephon Masha, the back up QB.

I think the coaches have been great with their game planning. I do hope, however, that the game plan this week incorporates more planned roll outs, screens, etc. to help Woodrum avoid pressure.

Mm
You mean coaches shouldn't use the same game plan every week?

curious to see if they break out more of the Masha stuff and maybe a few option looks. This offense is fun and fortunately I feel like there are many more wrinkles to exploit. Also, Zac Parker's emergence is huge.

Last week's ESPN3 announcers were provided by the conference and were worthless as a result. I believe we have our guys who know our squad calling this game. Then it is back to whomever ESPN3 assigns for Georgia State. At least that is my understanding.

you will probably get Dave Cohen for GSU. which is apparently a 3:30 game now btw. So mad. Dave is incredible. and does a fantastic job. Hopefully they don't stick him on radio only duty.

I haven't read all the replies so possibly down the page you explained this further but your not really serious are you?? I wasn't exactly welcomed with open arms last year at JMU. As a matter of fact some drunk JMU punk wanted to fight this 50 yr old LU alum. I'll go to the UGA/UF game and test this theory. I met some Montana fans at their team hotel and they seem ok prior to the game. Not so much after.
Last year at JMU there was two female Liberty students standing a few feet to our right. We were right on the edge of the Liberty section and student section. Some clearly intoxicated JMU students actually came down and started shaking one of the girls by the shoulder yelling "did you see that!" After JMUs first touchdown. We shooed them off for the moment.

The girls had written LU under there cheeks and had the paint sitting on the bleachers behind us. All of a sudden we heard a loud Pop and were hit with the paint. The guys had jumped down and stamped the paint spraying about 15 of us all around. They ran off and a former LU football player was held back. I texted the fan abuse hotline and we were surrounded by a ton of cops. They couldn't track them down; but in the fourth quarter I saw them leaving and a girl went and got a cop and they were all arrested.

Point of my story? There really isn't one, but any amount of unwelcoming here is due more to inexperience and lack of game day knowledge. I think that's preferable to nasty drunk behavior

Point of the story should of been the minute someone invaded your personal space to that level that you stomped a mudhole in their behinds, end of story.

Mike Hogewood took over for Matt Hogue on the ESPN3 broadcasts after he took the AD job at CCU...last I checked he isn't some scrub off the street. Is he perfect? Doubt it...but its not like they throw some intern in a suit and put him in front of a camera

He sucked last week. May as well have been an intern for all of the mistakes he made. It was like he showed up on Saturday morning, perused the game notes once and tried to BS his way through a broadcast. I don't tend to pick on media folk, but it was embarrassing.

I don't disagree on both counts Jon...its a broadcaster's job to do their homework before a game, something that our guys in house (except the tv pxp guy apparently at times) tend to be very good at.

Hogewood had an off week last week. I don't know what backstory there may have been but hopefully as a broadcaster with the length of career he has had, he watched the replay and comes in better prepared tonight.
Coaching changes

It appears your intel was on the mark.
