This is the first time i have had to pay for tickets for my crew and it stung the wallet. But after being at the game in MT a few years ago there was no way we were missing the one at home. Should be a heck of a game. GO FLAMES!!!!!!

And there should be a lot less wildfire smoke in your lungs this time around. Wish I was joining you all.

Sigmo - I'm looking forward to seeing you this weekend. First time I met you and Carrie was on the tarmac at Missoula. I'm glad we had the chance encounter.

Sly - despite the loss, we had a good time in Montana. Wish you were able to complete the series.

I've had this on the calendar for a couple of years and get to enjoy a father/son trip to see this game. Big opportunity for LU. Go Flames!!

Good for you! I did the same thing for the WVU game.

I have full intentions of being at the game on Saturday, but some plans have fallen through and we may be going out of town to regroup as a family.

I am trying to swing a father/son experience for Atlanta. Of course, Georgia State isn't helping matters by giving us a game time.

Unfortunately work is keeping me from Lynchburg this weekend and it is killing me.

This has been annoying me too. Trying to decide if I can do it as a day trip or if I need to plan to stay the night.

SUM, If memory serves me it was only us 3 out there that day. I think it really surprised them, we had several people come over and thank us for being there. I can't remember if you posted about going over or I did, still pretty amazing we were both locked on FF during the short window we had to line up going over there. we got to see the team and formed a friendship in all of 30 minutes. hahaha

I believe it was SumItUp who introduced you to me at the game that day, sigmo7. We had a decent-sized LU contingent at WaGriz that day. Still remember the frustration of all of those 1st half turnovers. That game seemed like a lifetime ago even though it was just 3 years ago.

Yes he was the culprit. We had a very good turnout for the game considering the location . I was just mentioning that it was only Sum, me an Carrie that were at the Airport when the team arrived. Speaking of the smoke out there the only good thing to come of it was we got a 250 dollar suite for 68 bucks. The desk clerk was from Lynchburg if you can believe that, and he hooked us up on the rate. All though the room was awesome he said it was the view that dictated the rate. Trying to get a better deal I said it should be free since all I could see at the time was the top of the convenience store beside us.

That's not Georgia State's fault. It has to do with the Sun Belt's television deal. They won't announce until three weeks out.

And the Sun Belt has released times for four of the seven games that weekend. Not sure what the holdup is on the other three. Probably has to do with ESPN3. That was a huge part of the holdup in the Big South men's hoops schedule release.

You are correct Rooster. Dang shame we had to travel across the country to meet. I wish I had run into Mr.Lang a little earlier in the trip. Since he told me about the brewery tour and tasting after the place was already closed. I meet a ton of people at that restaurant beside the hotel where it seemed everybody was staying except me.

From what i'm hearing over at GSU its looking more and more like a 3:30 kickoff for the GSU game. Sly let me know if you are coming down. if you get here early and GT has a game at noon which is more than likely i can get you in for the GT UNC game.
