They are adding a roundabout at the corner of University Boulevard and Williams Stadium Drive .... essentially in front of the Visitors Center.
JakeP50 wrote:That will lead to an equally frustrating and amusing first few weeks of the semester watching people who aren't used to roundabouts adjust to it.For the most part, I am not worried about the students. I am worried about their parents.
Cider Jim wrote:Sly, my understanding was that there was going to be a skyway (pedestrian bridge) from the Tower to DeMoss. That bridge is still in the architectural plans linked above, CJ. But the early designs didnt have the bridge over to the mansion near Doc's final resting place as clearly defined as they are in these blueprints.

A flagpole wouldn't create an "obstructed view" and would make a strong statement entering LU's campus--could we fly the America flag on the same pole as the Christian flag, or would we need two separate flag poles?

Yacht Rock wrote:Exactly, if you have two flag poles of equal height, the American flag has to be flown on the right* but both flags can be flown at full staff (mast is used for ships).Sly Fox wrote:Only one flag can be flown as high as the American flag on U.S. soil. That's about as accurate as the email I received telling me I inherited a fortune...
