I honestly can't believe we pulled this off, but I am glad we did. Give it 2-3 years tops and there will be some really good basketball being played in the Vines.

Yeah, it appeared that he decided to stay at Mercer. I am shocked under those circumstances that we are moving so fast. Whoever it is must be really jazzed to be coming to Lynchburg!

Well this is awkward...
Why? Because he didn't get the job? Or because he "turned it down"?

What's that saying about the broken clock?
I guess I will wait for you to show everyone where I've been wrong.

On the other hand... that article's information is based off of an unquoted reply to a text. Not exactly rock solid.

Grant Hoffman, 18, turned himself in to Bibb County authorities late Monday. He was indicted for homicide by vehicle and reckless driving in the single-vehicle wreck that killed his passenger, Abigail Hinson, 17.

The indictment alleges that Hoffman caused Hinson's death by driving a motor vehicle in a "reckless manner ... by driving in excess of forty miles an hour over the posted speed limit at night on Zebulon Road," a news release from the District Attorney's office states.

...

Hoffman is the son of Mercer basketball coach Bob Hoffman.
I think this is the other thing holding him back.

The reason behind putting "turned it down" in quotation marks is lost on me. What are you implying?

Nice Jesus Juke.
Or he's accepted the offer on his way back to Mercer where he will change his mind :flamingdevil
So you think he is capable of pulling a Greg Marshall on us?

It's freaks me out that Mckay announced he was leaving on April Fools day however many years ago. Now we have a press conference scheduled for April 1st and Mckay's name hasn't been linked publicly at all and he's a strong candidate according to the scribe. It's creepy.
