I found this nugget this morning...
Former Spotsylvania standout offensive lineman Thomas Williamson will walk on at Liberty University after spending the 2014 fall semester at Fork Union Military Academy.

Williamson was offered a scholarship by FBS program Eastern Michigan and Division II West Virginia State but chose to walk on with the FCS Flames because of the school’s religious aspect and its proximity to home. Liberty bills itself as the nation’s largest Christian university.

“It’s a school where I can learn, get closer to God and play football,” Williamson said.
Williamson (6-foot-5, 318 pounds) said he will begin his career with the Flames as an offensive guard with the possibility of switching to tackle. He was an all-Conference 27 defensive lineman his senior season at Spotsylvania and participated in the Virginia High School Coaches Association all-star game last summer.

He’s dropped 22 pounds since enrolling at FUMA.

“They worked me hard,” Williamson said. “It was a great experience but it was really hard. They put me through everything I needed to do to get to the level I’m at now, of going to a D–I school.”

With the players we have lost, I would think he has a good shot at earning a scholarship this Spring. Pretty impressive that he turned down a free ride at an FBS school to walk on for LU. It may be he knew that there was a good chance a schollie would open up for him.

We still have 12 other O-Linemen on the roster; 7 returning from last year, 4 redshirt Freshmen and new recruit Ernst Anderson.
