He has done a lot with very little at NCCU. Heck they couldn't even afford to the pay the NCAA for the cost to broadcast the game on the radio last year when they went to the NCAA tourney.
I don't think he would leave there to come here. Moton would put Liberty back on the map and take it to a place it hasn't been before. His story of what he has done here in the triangle is awesome.
I don't think Barber will make a great hire, he could prove me wrong but I don't see it happening. Had he kept Randy Dunton and given him an open check in the first place we wouldn't be at the bottom of D-1 men's basketball like we are now. Barber is just as responsible for this mess as Layer is. He didn't see the writing on the wall 2 years ago when everyone else did which is his fault. But win or lose we will pray with the opponentWhich is all that has seemed to matter for the last 3 years.

Not true. My wife appreciates and delivers brutal honesty.

They were talking about all the state D1 schools. They mentioned LU having an opening, and former Coach McKay would be getting a lot of looks from schools needing a coach, much better schools than Liberty.

ballcoach15 wrote:In the eyes of Richmond paper, there are only 3 schools playing D1 basketball:Outside of those three, what Virginia program is worth covering?
UVA, VCU, Richmond. Now granted 2 of those are located in the city.
