We win 6-1 blew the shutout and the No No in the 9th. oh well. The announcers totally jinxed this by bringing up Parker Bean's No hit bid last year and then they promptly hit a double.

Nick Peirce would have Kept his mouth shut and not said a word. I know its stupid superstition but Most of the time it works. you CAN NOT TALK ABOUT A NO HITTER WHEN YOU ARE IN THE PROCESS OF ONE! COME ON! THATS ANNOUNCING 101!

No radio today just streaming video. Can't remember exactly what he said but he mentioned somethinf exciting happening and 3 outs to go. He brought up the last Flames pitcher to pitch a no hitter.

Lang tweeted about the no-no several times starting in the 6th inning. Does tweeting count as saying it??

I like the line up today w/ Becker behind the plate and Alex at 1st. Also the complete game saved some arms which is good since we have 3 more games in the next 3 days. Any idea who we throw tomorrow?

I say unless he gets the ball vs. UNC on Monday, give Bean another shot to close out the series.

Liberty up 5-1 in the second after the Bryant starter walked the bases loaded and Josh Close rudely greeted the new pitcher by blasting a 3-1 pitch for a grand slam

Good showing the last 2 days. Josh close, keranen & barrick provided a lift. I think josh mat win that spot because paxton never really won the job a couple years ago and ended the season on the bench. We havent even gotten shepherd and britt going yet. I think we have more options than ever and toman may just play the hot stick and matchups more than ever at 4 spots this year. How crazy is it that 5 of our top 7 pitchers are lefty. If blaylock improves to match his stuff we could have 6 legit lefties. I would think stafford would get the start tom and we piece it together from there unless perritt is ready to back him up. May see pennington or clowers against duke.

Josh Barrick is absolutely raking the ball...and every time I see that name I'm reminded of that accident and hearing about it in convo the next day. I remember praying for him and his sister and parents too...quite a story I think.

First time I saw Josh was when he was between 7-8 grade . I could not believe how good his swing was at that age.
