Early advertisement for my games this week. I am excited to be heading to sunny Florida to call two games: UTEP @ FAU Thursday 8 PM and UTEP @ FIU Saturday 4:30 PM on American Sports Network. I tweeted that I liked Jay Bilas' sneakers on the CollegeGameDay pre game show and ASN retweeted and told me to wear my Air Force Ones. So this week I will be rocking the Nike Air Force Ones on the air and taking pics for Twitter.

American Sports Network has been a true blessing for me and I am having a BLAST covering CUSA and A10. Next season I hope to cover more A10 games especially here in Richmond with VCU and U of R.

Me too Haize! I'm glad they are so popular once again. I wore them in HS back in the 80's. I want to buy some more colors. I always check Amazon for deals. Got a pair for $60. Also got a pair for $135 but that was a special occasion gift.

I rocked the white with red & black trim Air Jordans back when we thought 60 bucks for a pair of shoes was ridiculously expensive. But those were the ones he wore in the iconic poster that we all had hanging on our walls next to the Ice Man.

My favorite Nike Ad was the one with 5 guys coming out of the Subway in NY and the voice over says 'First you gotta get a lesson in intimidation'
The Reebok ad campaign with 'Money' etc was also great. LaMar Mundane was my idol

Well this year continues to be a dream. I just got another game added to my schedule for February at Marshall and I was told that Dave Armstrong from the Big 12 Network/ESPN etc. and me are their best broadcast team! I am honored and blessed to be considered in such high regard. I am really looking forward to calling games in the CUSA Tournament in March!

I have to put my Atlantic 10 hat back on for a while. Next week I will be in Philly for the LaSalle game. I plan on seeing tons of family and friends. Then I'm back in Norfolk for two games at ODU on Thursday and Saturday. It is going to be a busy next 4 or 5 weeks but I am enjoying the ride!

I am honored and blessed to be considered in such high regard. I am really looking forward to calling games in the CUSA Tournament in March!

I have to put my Atlantic 10 hat back on for a while. Next week I will be in Philly for the LaSalle game. I plan on seeing tons of family and friends. Then I'm back in Norfolk for two games at ODU on Thursday and Saturday. It is going to be a busy next 4 or 5 weeks but I am enjoying the ride!

You know if you keep working hard, one day you may be invited back to LFSN ESPN too Olberman back so there is hope for you!

I will look for it Jim. But I will be there for a hot minute. 3 straight Wed, Thurs, Saturday's in a row coming up then Conference USA Tournament in Birmingham for the 1st 2 rounds. This is going to be some stretch. I'm praying for health, safety and mental toughness to prepare well.

Man Liberty and the Big South did me a favor as far as I am concerned. I am sitting in a suite the size of one of my old apartments in Downtown Philly and was allowed to come up here 2 days before the game because they want me to be happy and knew I would enjoy some time in my old city. Much rather be in Philly and Norfolk this week calling A10 and CUSA games than sitting in an empty gym in Lynchburg watching two teams in the bottom 300. This is just unreal!
