A coach should not pay any attention to message boards, twitter or Facebook, nor should he listen to the fans. Fan talk is part of sports. If we were undefeated, there would still be unrest somewhere.

Several years ago I was at a college softball tournament in Rock Hill,SC. A parent of a Virginia Tech player made the following comment:

"No matter what game one goes to, those 4 guys standing behind the backstop are the 4 best coaches and umpires there is."

NOW, I would find it highly suspect if he used the comments on here in the actual process of making hiring/firing or other important decisions day to day.
