I don't ever remember seeing this grave marker, although I thought the printing office was on the opposite side of Schilling from the tennis courts.

Cider is correct. I miss the Schilling. Good memories

I keep seeing ads for The Vue at Liberty Mountain opening this fall, so maybe that's it.
That's on the other side. This is between the road that goes to LUCOM and Liberty Ridge.

The shortcut in front of the new science building is nice, but it's completely outside. It doesn't give the same relief from rain/snow/or cold like the back hallway did. It's only been closed for two weeks and it has seriously messed up my routine.

Great news for Atrain! He can get back under LU employment without having to leave the confines of the tax shelter known as Texas.

For the record, if we ever have a real presence in Texas I would love to see us get our hands on the engineering program at LeTourneau. That would be epic.

Umm, Dallas just instituted the 5 cents-per-plastic bag (or paper bag that can't hold 16 lbs) tax. Also, unless LU is going to pay me at the GS-12 level plus match my FERS, TSP contributions up to 5%, health benefits, etc...I doubt I'll be leaving the public sector.

And in all seriousness, doesn't LeTourneau also have a good aviation program as well?

Classes now being held in the new Science Hall

January 26, 2015 : By Sara Warrender/Liberty University News Service

Students and faculty of Liberty University’s rapidly expanding Department of Biology & Chemistry as well as the Department of Health Professions were invited to move into the new Science Hall at the start of the 2015 spring semester.

The four-story, 121,000-square-foot building is triple the size of the prior science building and houses the Department of Biology & Chemistry on Floors 1-3 and the Department of Health Professions on the Terrace Level. All chemistry labs have moved into the new building, along with several biology classes. More labs and classes will continue to transition to the new building throughout the semester. Everything is expected to be complete by the end of the 2015 spring semester.

A chiller is a component of a large HVAC system. Probably needed to keep humidity levels down in the summer. I'm sure that someone else can weigh in with a more technical answer, but librarysiesre very careful about humidity.

counting the levels and it looks taller.

maybe my math is off. I gotta use fingers and toes
I'm not sure how many floors Commons 2 is but I do know it's on a hill, which could be why it looks taller than Commons 1
