We have 6 on scholarship. Peterson, Shells, Parker, Farrow, McCarter and Fritts. We are recruiting at least 2, Damian King and Denvre Daniels. If we land one on them we will be well set. Farrow is really good. Frank Rocco is not really one to heap a lot of praise on his players, and he says he was the best HS receiver he has ever SEEN.

Yes, I heard Farrow was supposed to be LEGIT, as I have been harping him praise myself, so I hope he is as advertised. FYI, maybe your boy Rocco, hasn't really seen alot of HS WR's, depending on where he coaches at.
Think LU pulls 1 of the 2 in Denvre and King, would be nice to pull both, and it would have happened without the silver/gray uniforms too, for the other smart asses.

Rocco coaches at LCA. He coached Dimitri Knowles, who is playing for VT, and Pat Kelly, who was our top receiver a few years ago. He also has coached against a number of D1 receivers.

Which of the 6 WRs I listed are you saying is not on scholarship? I know for sure all were signed to NLIs. Parker and Farrow both had academic issues, but my understanding is that once they became eligible they were placed on scholarship.

I live in Northern Virginia and the football up here is just a tad bit different that what you have in Lynchburg, so that's how I don't know who Coach Rocco is. I post on this board because my kid plays on this team, or otherwise I wouldn't be posting, duh. Easy, to be dominant where he is coaching at, every so called Christian school is not good (at sports), and every player that plays at a Christian school is a great as perceived.

Unless you are a local fan or were around when when Danny was running the show I doubt most people ever heard of Frank Rocco coaching LCA. I'm from Roanoke and never knew or cared to know who coached LCA. And when I did find out, it was mainly because it was Danny's brother. Since Danny has been gone not as much. He wins a lot so he must be doing something right. Ya'll rag on FORBIDDEN quit a bit and maybe he does come across differently at times. But for the past 5 years iv'e been around here he seems to be one of the more knowledgeable posters about the game of football. I think he watches the game differently because of his coaching experience than the average fan. Ya'll may not like the way he expresses it, but the man knows football.
