If you do like it, feel free to make a suggestion for change...but at least it is a tradition, something our athletics program in general lacks.

I think we need a "thing" of some sort. Auburn has the war eagle, Clemson has Howard's rock, notre dame has touchdown Jesus...LSU has the "tiger walk" (i think), we need to think of some sort of pregame tradition that makes people say..."yeah that's Liberty". Its a challenge though to come up with a 100% original concept that can hopefully morph into an iconic gameday tradition in this era

I stated awhile ago before the season started that I wonder if the team could do some sort of "walk" into the stadium to go along with gillville or something like that, alot of fans would love to see the players prior to getting all geared up.

sure we wont be the first to do some sort of walk even PSU and others do the same sort of pregame entry type thing

Notre Dame covered up Touchdown Jesus with their stadium expansion. It's why they will never be relevant again. Just an over rated paper tiger

How were people supposed to respond to that thread in your opinion? This thread at least has a point (burn some time in the offseason).

Someone suggested it before, but I love the idea of Sparky (or someone) carrying a torch lit from Doc's grave and bringing it into stadium to light a fire similar to what they do in the Olympics.

I also like the idea of ringing a Liberty Bell (which also has been brought up numerous times); I also love the live eagle idea. If Marshall can do it with a live buffalo, LU should get it done with a live eagle or two.

Also, not they aren't called the Thundering Turd for nothing!! Good job locking Doc up too. I'm almost thinking about getting nervous about your future compared to The Flag Ship University
