Could it be a tunnel? It seemed to me that there is a tunnel from the Library to the Music buildings... I know that was a possibility.

Using that logic, lets charge more for football games when attendance increases rather than add 6000 seats. Win-win...a sell out with higher revenue and always a full house.

Athletic Construction: https://www.liberty.edu/champion/2014/1 ... r-upgrade/

2 items that caught my eye:
the Champion wrote:One of these additions is what will be called The Academic and Performance Center. This 65,000-square-foot building will cater to athletes’ needs. It will feature a new weight room as well as a training room that will be equipped for all the latest advancements in athletic treatment, including hydrotherapy. The building will also include a 20,000-square-foot academic center for athletes. This will be the new home of the compliance and academic coordinator staff and will include tutoring offices, a computer lab, study rooms, a lounge and more. The three-story building will also have an equipment room that will accommodate multiple sports.

“We think we can put something together that is going to be better than anything (the athletes) have,” Barber said. “We’re in the design phase now.”

Barber said this building will be located just outside of the baseball stadium.
“We’re going to take down the (soccer) scoreboard along with all those bushes and it’s going to go right in the bank and the parking lot,” Barber said.
AND
the Champion wrote: One of the more unique additions to sports facilities is the 40-foot caboose that will be placed in right field of the Liberty Baseball stadium this year. The “Flametrain” will be painted red and have the logo placed on the side. It will also feature a patio for seating and viewing the game and will sit on train tracks.
now THAT I gotta see

South Carolina has a track with several pimped out cabooses at their football stadium. They are petty sweet. I wager it's where the idea came from

I believe several MLB teams are doing something similar. So a Cubs-Cardinals ticket would be $85 but the same seat for the Cubs - Astros would be $45

OK - I'm posting this on here because I know the people with influence read this forum and this is what the campus desperately needs and would make Liberty the coolest campus in the world!!!!! Not that it already isn't pretty cool, but this would be it. Serve a big need and would allow parking to be far away from campus, opening up more building spots...

Doesn't WVU already have this? And they are FAR from the coolest college in the world. Heck, even the in-state Herd students are way cooler. 8)

Yes we do at WVU! We call it The People Mover
I believe Marshall would call theirs The Pooper Scooper! Although the Thundering Turd may have a better bowl game than WVU

I know this idea was presented a few times. It only makes sense. However, it also mimics what is at Disney World and I believe the SBC is still boycotting them over Gay Day so that might be an issue. Although, LU is off called Jerry World so it should off set

Monorails are prohibitively expensive. I've done quite a bit of research on them over the years (I'm building a miniature one in my backyard) and they can easily cost over $30 million per mile depending on what type of conditions you're building on.

I would love to see one though. Would really look nice at the school.
