tip for ya- don't ever attend a sporting event in Philly with that attitude.

What we have now is the Jazz Ensemble doubling as the pep band, so rehersal time is mainly devoted to the Jazz Ensemble music. Also, after the season started, they were requested to play at all of the home men's and women's games, which has caused some members to leave the ensemble due to the time commitment being too much.
I am personally in favor of a brass band, which many schools have as the pep band. At the moment, however, we don't have enough faculty and players to form one. Not to mention the 13 Living Christmas Tree preformances that the brass section members, and Dr. Kerr, had played in the last two weeks.
appreciate the info CD- that puts it in a little better perspective for the rest of us. We know you guys are working hard- looking forward to seeing the new product.

CD is more of an insider than I am as it relates to all things band since he lives in the area. My knowledge and access is only of use when Im actually in town since I leave town for breaks.

At Christmas Convo the other day he was running around like an idiot for no reason. He can cheer and "lead" the cheers from his seat. His bit is getting annoying.

Hey heads up I like him alot too, he cracks me up. Im friends with his ex (Amy she is so sweet) and when he used to sit with us at dinner hed tell us these crazy stories bout how he benches 300 and how he trash talks the football players. He is gonna love Maryland!!! (Hes leaving due to lack of fan support)

that is a terrible reason to transfer, but that is one criteria I am using in evaluating what law school to attend

Seriously, if that's his reason, and he's a Christian, he's made a poor choice. Their reputation for crossing the line developed for a reason.

I didn't know that. Oh well, it was good to have him here while we did.

If he's seriously transferring to Maryland for "fan support" than he's more whacked than any of us suspected.

that is a terrible reason to transfer....but whatever...I personally think the kid is great and if he would've been here a couple years ago, him and this guy named Chad that was in my hall would've gotten along so great. Chad was always crazy, but it didn't bother people because a lot of people were up standing the whole time

like i have said over and over....this year is just puzzling to me. I have never seen such a quiet student section at Liberty and this is my 4th basketball season here, so its not like i am new around here....its just weird

Its just sad that one man cant do it alone. ALSO I have to clear this up a bit even though the main reason jon is leaving is the fan support his dorm life hasnt been too great either. Suposedly a bunch of guys hogtied him with duct tape and started doing things not so Liberty Way like(dry humping, that sorta thing), video taped it and from what i hear its on youtube. Last week people stole his phone and started saying a bunch of real dirty stuff to some of his friends, and although it may not seem like a big deal I thought the idea at LU was that we "ought to be better" as stated by Jerry every Wednesday. Even if not as Christians or being at a Christian college we should be treating him better. The Baker Bunch, (if theres only 13 of you thatd be amazing) apparently the last years Cornin Crew(as I was one of them and got to see him play and meet his dad) they are the nicest bunch of guys I have ever seen and thank goodness for them. The fact is Jon is leaving here with a bad Liberty taste in his mouth, and I wish him the best. Honestly we need like around 8000 Snivelers and well be all set.

I'd love to see "Fan clubs" pop up all throughout the Vines. We already have Baker and Monroe.

Brew's Brewers.

Blair's Lair.

Ace's Aces - Come dressed as aces.

The Porterhouse - they can come dressed as steaks.

I still say Baker's Bunch needs to all buy bakers hats and become Baker's Bakers.

Question: Did anybody notice RD at the end of the first half? The guy was out on the court! I know a lot of coaches do this when yelling at their guys but it's normally when the players are on the other end. He was in the corner outside the 3 point arch, right next to a Longwood guy. I honestly think the guy was trying to get in position right where RD was standing. How did he not get a T? I guess they would have warned him first but they didn't even do that.
