Yes it is. I think this has pleasantly surprised all of us. I'm glad people's faith in LU has been validated. Personally, I'm glad HCTG has been validated. Give him an extension TONIGHT.

Our last drive was one of the most impressive things I've ever seen by a Liberty team.

Yep, just wanted it more and executed in every situation that required it. The OL really took over as that drive progressed.

In years gone by, that's a game where JMU scores before the half, scores to start the second half, and we're down 35-10 and wondering how things got away from us when we started strong. There's a compete level in this team that is beyond anything I've seen in a Liberty football team, ever, and it seems to have shown up just a couple of weeks ago.

I'm hoping this new attitude BECOMES "Typical Liberty." It would be a much appreciated change.

I've been as skeptical of Gill as anyone, but this does need to happen. He's done what nobody else was able to, and done it in 3 years. Forget just an extension, rework his next two years and give him another 3-5 years on top of it.

Haven't read anything here yet either. We have all ragged on the D pretty good this year, myself included. But the D won this game for us. The entire D played well, but being an old DL myself, I would definitely single out the DL for a huge game. Maybe the best I have ever seen a LU D line play.

I have checked on flights to PHI and they are cost prohibitive. I am now checking flights to other cities where there is a chance I could get picked up on the way to the game.

Keep in mind that Villanova has a small stadium. It would be awesome if we dominated the crowd.

They did a great job containing Lee. He had solid numbers but no game breakers/changers.
I was that their receivers couldn't get separation. That really really helped. The Pride of Appomattox came up huge several times
