You left out Josh Smith, who was ahead of Kaigler and Mosley on the depth chart before his injury. I don't even really count those 2. We will be 5 deep with quality backs (if we don't redshirt the only one who has a redshirt year available).

Peterson reminds me of Pierre Garcon. I think he could have the same type career - mid-round draft pick and eventually working his way in to a 100-catch receiver.

Good comparison. Both can make the most absolutely incredible catch but struggle with the simple easy one.

Dude. Petey drops passes all the time. He makes some amazing catches, but he generally has one drop a game that makes you scratch your head. I remember posting during the CCU game that if he caught half the passes he dropped, he'd be the best WR in FCS history.

That's my point. He can make some amazing catches. Never said he couldn't. But he's had a bunch of easy catches that he just drops.
Glad you believe SJ though

Petey had a huge problem with drops early in the season, but he has cleaned that up pretty well. Even the best drop a pass now and then, and that is how he has been the second half of the season. If he had caught the ball as well earlier, he would lead FCS in every receiving category. He's top 10 as it is. For example, he is only 107 yards behind the national leader in total receiving yards. He dropped 2 bombs in the first game of the season alone that would have totaled more than that

See what I did there?

Never said he doesn't have the talent not to be great. Never said he was a stiff. I hope he continues to tighten up because the athleticism is there to be amazing

Garçon? I think that kinda misses the mark a little id say more like a Torrie smith or desean jackson. He's an amazing deep threat. Does anybody know his 40 time? He's a great burner. As for lunsford I think he n Kai forbath would complement each other very well. Lunsford struggles with accuracy on mid range n shorter field goals but forbath is very good at those while forbaths kickoffs are weak and his fg range is limited but lunsford can kick from over 60 and gets a lot of touchbacks. I don't like keeping 2 kickers on an nfl team due to limited roster size but in this case it could benefit the redskins. Hagan also needs a look the redskins desperately need a good cover free safety.

Hate to tell you, but Petey is not even close to DJax type of fast. He's around high 4.4's but would def be a decent number 2 option at the next level. LU doesn't use him to run all the routes, and there have been games where he has disappeared, cant do that up there. I def think he could make a roster, without a doubt.

Peterson gets open deep all the time he looks way faster than a 4.4 time. And part of the reason he has disappeared at times is because opposing defenses focus so much on him. Take the Monmouth game. He was being double and triple teamed all day but it opened up room to throw to gabe Henderson.

No, course when Washington doesnt score any, you don't need it to (go Rams). Lunsford is gonna get some looks for sure heading into next year with seeming limitless range

Yes, agree he will get a ton of looks just based off of this years numbers alone, but then I feel what will cost him will be his accuracy on the short ones. He will bounce around and make a nice FAT paycheck for years to come, by being able to hit those bombs. I say his career will be with 2-3 teams but regardless, will be able to live that dream and have that chance. What more could you ask for.

Hell, he is within range once the bus stops at the gate.
Are we back?
