You'd be a little surprised. Again, something I had heard before homecoming but experienced myself this weekend was that the students were sectioned off into different groups doing their own thing with the goal to get on the video board or win the 12th man flag for that night. They're doing some cool things, but they're not doing them together. There's no one group leading things.

The student section is still divided by dorms, Jerry's Jokers are all from E54 and their sister dorm, I don't know about the other groups but I assume it's a similar situation. But I've heard when the student section is all doing the same thing and it is NUTS. When Don't Stop Believing plays in the 3rd quarter and the whole student section is singing along even after the music on the PA stops it gets LOUD over there.

I agree they could be in more unison. To me that is the job of the cheer leaders, not a student group. I am trying to think of all the big college game experiences I have been too, and its always the cheer leaders that lead the stadium chants.

So maybe SJ is saying that the students are willing, they just need a leader, so they can cheer all together. AH HA, I got it, a Cheer Leader.

Texas A&M calls the guys that do that in the stands Yell Leaders or something like that.

No one is going to follow what the cheerleaders are chanting because they chant stupid things. All it takes is a few guys working together to let people know what to cheer.

I was perusing Twitter yesterday and came across a handle called Lunatics 2.0 Im not sure who is behind that but I think if we can figure out who is working on that maybe you could give those guys some direction or something so they can be a TRUE LUnatics 2.0

PH, the guys from LFSN have been making that joke since I started working there it's kind of old now.

And yes I started that account a few months ago, but recently I've been thinking about coming up with an original name and doing my own thing instead of just copying ideas from the LUnatics.

I don't work for LFSN so it's not old. Plus no one forced you to choose your alternate screen name. BJ was fine

If you want to make a real impact, instead of a grass roots movement that will fizzle, Get to the cheer leaders. Tell them what you want to hear. And then, have them stand on the other side of the opposing teams bench. Why are they leading the band in cheers ?

And it you skipped the Coastal game (like I did) because you couldn't stand to see us lose another important game, redeem yourself and drive to Harrisonburg for our first-ever LU football playoff game (like I am)!

I talked to my wife about making the trip for a liberty home game but if anyone goes it probably will be me...depends on my work schedule because I'm just starting out at Wal-Mart and I'm seasonal.
