When I was watching today, there was a good bit of slow music but a lot of upbeat songs . according to one of my friends who is a tech for the band they actually put the wraps on the show (as far as drill on the field) on Monday so maybe itll be a nice show that I will get to see tomorrow night. I do think the App trip will be a nice learning experience and a fun experience as well

The band was better tonight than in the past. They actually played some songs in the stands which was a great change. I hope they continue to add more because they were recycling them by the third quarter.

Halftime show though...

I enjoyed the stands tunes as well.

I thought the halftime show was pretty good...the one solo could have played out a bit more but the marching was solid once again. they're going to be playing for a lot of potential future band members here in a few weeks down in Atlanta so they really need to button up in practice

And that's the disconnect. The vast majority of football game attendees are just happy they don't run into each other and unless they are doing a moonwalking character or something else, are not thrilled about marching. They want to be entertaining. That is not entertaining.

Like I said, I love music, but this year's halftime show is a snoozer. I didn't mind waiting in line to get my daughter hot cocoa and a funnel cake last night during the half because I didn't feel I was missing anything.

And to say that "Well the marching was good..." is like saying that my diction was good when reading the phone book. Doesn't make it entertaining.
