The red and blue jerseys only work with white numbers. Anything else is too hard to read.

The NCAA specified something this year about contrasting uniform number color but I forget the exact wording

Somebody, maybe Gardner Webb, had hoops unis last season where the numbers were so subdued you could hardly see them

Edit: FR-22 (2013-2014 NCAA rule changes) Rule # 1-4-4 just specifies contrast regardless of border color

Gardner-Webb's black Under Armour unis were the big offenders, correct. When you're sitting on the floor and can't identify the numbers, that's a problem. Never had any issue with Liberty's red numbers on blue jerseys because the white border was thick enough to provide contrast.

We had white numbers Rocco's first year (which is why we wore the white pants with blue jerseys) and then had red numbers with white outlines in the other years (which led to the blue on blue).

Didn't all the Big East schools, before the fall of the BE, have hard to read basketball unis in the tourney?

While I agree that the trave will not be a huge issue, Chris. You didn't reference them playing in a big stadium environment for the 1st time. That could be a significant distraction early on this evening. Particularly if we have a strong crowd with good weather and CFAW.

My gut tells me we may be in for a huge performance from our offense. I could see DJ's speed driving their D fits if they try to commit to getting after Josh. This sets up nicely if our guys can focus tonight.

Not a huge CFAW crowd this weekend, according to my RA one of the smallest in recent memory. So far today the weather has been perfect football weather (and I didn't wake up at 3am getting rained on which was nice)

Nonsense. Total cop out. Liberty has money. There should be a mobile omelet bar, with Gill manning the fry pan.

That's a myth. Students go home during CFAW.

Actaully if you're on leadership you're required to stay for cfaw.Which is like 3/4 of returning residential students. So i disagree with the myth. And four years at school less than 2-3 left during cfaw weekend, especially during the fall and football. If students didn't show during cfaw it was either cold, rainy, or we were playing a d2 team which none of those will be the case tonight. Not record breaking but should be good. Also cfaw boost attendance on baptist side.

Am I gonna trust a current student who, like I was when I was a student, is likely wrong about most things, or trust years of actual trends?
