Fine...anyway, we probably will be favored in this game, and if we can get the running gaMe going to some degree, Josh will have a field day with the passing game. this does make me miss the LUnatics though, because you, Jon, and the gang were always at the forefront of the students getting into the other team's head with cheers and pranks and generally just being loud andobnoxious (without being rude).

Nicky's arrested? I guess its the Thomas Kennedy Experiment from here on out

Beej, it's been five years. You don't have to bring us up every time the crowd is mentioned.

While I chuckle at your comment jbock, we pretty much have elimination games the rest of the way save App State. we win all our FCS games from here on out, we are in the show

These are the types of games we just don't win. I'm going in with a low expectation as to not get my hopes up. It's been almost 10 years of "are we finally here?"

That's a long bus ride that could lead to some serious bonding opportunities. Especially if they stop at Chipotle.

This is a chance for a statement game. We have to turn the corner on games like this. We finally beat an in-state opponent on the road two weeks ago. If we can win against a ranked non-conference team at home, we make more progress towards winning the games that matter.

Yes. If we want to seriously consider ourselves playoff caliber, then we have win games like this (preferably by a sizeable margin). This is not a game on the level of Lehigh, JMU, Coastal, or Richmond, but it is a game that we have to win.

I agree with all of this. What I will add though, is that while they're not the JMU, Lehigh, or Richmond type schools, if we win this game, we begin to get past the psyche of "we can't beat ranked teams from other conferences."

I agree. Some people on here seem to think that games like this and next week are like the playoffs. It is in few ways, but in a lot of ways its not even close. When we start playing strong schedules and winning against quality opponents, then we can start talking.

Don't get me wrong, I take nothing away from Bryant and Indiana State's victories this season. They have done very well and both deserve to be nationally ranked right now; we do not. But playoff caliber team/programs are not afraid of Bryant or Indiana State and they have no reason to be. They don't diminish them, but they don't talk them up either. Good FCS teams go out there and beat the crap out of them just like Coastal did to SCSU this past week.

Agree with all of this. If we can finish this stretch 3-0 heading down to Boone (last game before the bye week) we can have an aircraft carrier load of momentum with conference play coming after the bye..but all that starts with winning this Saturday night
