For the record, G-W is hosting Virginia University of Lynchburg. Yeah, they still have a football team. And this will mark their 3rd FCS opponent in a row to start the season after heading down to the SWAC the first two weeks.

We will learn a great deal about nearly all our opponents this weekend with the exception of G-W as they face comparable opponents.

There are several good games on the docket this weekend. I'm most looking forward to the Maine @ Bryant contest since we face Bryant next week. We'll see if their win over Stony Brook was just a fluke.

Hopefully Monmouth shows well, and the Indiana State game should be interesting too.

If Bryant pulls off a win over Maine, that makes next week's match-up huge.

Also, I have a feeling that South Carolina State will give Coastal a fight.

Coastal looked rather human in their win last week. If Bryant gets a win over Maine, I think we could be in for a bigger fight than anticipated before the season

Thursday
Campbell @ Charleston Southern 2-0 7pm Campbell is really, really bad.

Saturday
Wagner @ Monmouth 1-0 1pm Pretty close matchup that could go either way, but I give Monmouth the edge at home.
Maine @ Bryant 2-0 1pm Maine blasts Bryant.
Indiana State 1-1 @ Ball State 3pm Ball State blasts Indiana State.
Hampton @ Richmond 1-1 6pm Richmond destroys Hampton.
Lynchburg @ Gardner-Webb 0-2 6pm
South Carolina State @ Coastal Carolina 2-0 6pm Coastal in a close game through the 3rd, then pulls away in the 4th.
Furman @ Presbyterian 1-1 7pm PC keeps it close through halftime, before the wheels come off.
Norfolk State 0-2 @ William & Mary 7pm William & Mary controls the game the entire way and wins by 10+

I wouldn't be shocked if CSU is 5-0. Their next two games are home against the Citadel and at Charlotte. The Citadel lost to Coastal 31-16, and Charlotte beat Campbell by a nearly identical 33-9 score. It will be interesting to watch and see how they fare the next 2 weeks.

I would not be shocked either...but they have not looked great the last two outings. if they drop either of the next two, they probably become an afterthought as far as an at-large is concerned

Youre right manson...replace the sub DIs with even Savannah State and Morgan State and the committee could at least work around the two FBS games

I think that both of their next two games are going to be close, but CSU will squeak them out in the end.

CSU is pretty much doing what they did last season. They've played down to their opponents so far. At halftime against Campbell they were down 7-10, but Chadwell ripped the team and they played a lot better. I think that trend will continue during the next two weeks.

Your families needs should come first. Maybe I am a "jerk", but I don't condider having the wedding in one particular place which is both expensive and only available on dates which require her dad to go to extreme measures to accomodate it to be a need. When it comes to giving a child what they WANT, it's a parent's call and not for us to judge.
