Ok here is what I can do...if youre in A League...pm me your list of intended keepers (up to 5) from your roster. I will look up the players, add their total cost and pm it back. Can do this until end of the day Saturday

That is because its not a keeper league...never been. never agreed to. there is no way to do a keeper league if you are dropping and adding teams year after year. totally asinine.

I expanded on the one keeper idea and figured having up to 5 gives some semblance of continuity for the teams that stay in from year to year. Also, Ive been learning all the different tools that are available and trying to make use of them to make the A-League even better. Since two of the owners from last year were removed from the league (due to relegation), I can assign up to 5 players each from the former teams to the new entries into the league (which isn't exactly free because the auction costs would be applied to your total budget). Im just trying to do what I can to make this a competitive and even balanced league

what you can do is stop meddling. its not a keeper league you cant just change things. a keeper league fundamentally wont work let alone keeping 5 players. keeper leagues create a layer of complexity noone wants or has asked for.

stop messing with the league and use the same settings as last year.

you are the "commissioner" nobody should have to help you. just copy the settings from last year. when you renew the league you can do just that.

Since I have no clue who was on my team last year, I am indifferent. Frankly I don't see why it is necessary. But I will go along with others. I assume any keepers would be forfeiting draft position in each round for that team.

Since its auction style you wouldnt forfeit draft position, just they would be automatically deducted from your total budget when assigned. (Which is why I was contemplating bumping the budget up a bit considering the cost of some players)
