Winthrop has ok crowds. They don't come close to filling out their building though. They have a pretty good atmosphere but I wouldn't say they were the standard bearer or anything. Their success the past 8 or 9 years has been well documented but it has not filled their building every night.

The crowds at Winthrop have been pretty good this year (especially when you consider the teams that we've played at home). I think it's hard for a lot of schools to sell out when they are playing a DII school. I think we'll have some pretty big crowds for Big South games this year.

Stuff like this just takes time for smaller schools. We've been pretty good the past 8 years and we still have to work to get people to come to the games. Winning always helps, but even then it still takes time. If Liberty can keep winning, people will show up.
