The people currently refusing to give us off-the-record information are doing us a favor. That stuff is off the record right now for a reason. I think anybody well-connected enough to actually hear something reliable has probably also been around this barbecue enough times to know when not to leak things. I do not think there is anyone that knows what the Sun Belt conference is going to do at this time. No additions to the conference has 9 votes at this time in my opinion. I feel that NMSU has 9 votes to be added as an all sports member but only if a eastern school is added in all sports. Idaho is a footbal member at leased until the end of the 2017 football season therefor a western all sports football playing member such as MSU will not be asked to join until 2017 so that they would be in there 2nd transition year in football for the 2018 football season.

Fairly good assessment. I don't see any reason for the Sun Belt to invite UMass at this point. I also don't see any reason for UMass to accept a Sun Belt invite at this point. Either Liberty and NMSU will both be added, or neither will. There may be other options, but none of them make much sense in light of what's already been said and who's already been cut from consideration.

I will be pleased if Liberty gets an invite, but very very surprised.

I also do not see any reason why the Sun Belt would add UMASS. UMASS would join the Sun Belt in a New York minute just for the reason of having a FBS conference home for there football team. As an independent in football they will have a very hard time being able to put a schedule together with 5 home games each and every year. As a member of a conference they would at least have 4 home games each year that can not be bought out.

It may seem like it but I'm not. I first found this website the same day I created my account and posted on the "introduce yourself" thread. And if someone wanted to get a "fresh start" wouldn't they stop posting from their old account, maybe that's just me.

I believe that is only a function available to administrators or moderators. Since you have access to personal account information, do you share it with others?

IP's aren't a good way to measure things. I'm in Afghanistan right now but we use US IP's for all our VSAT Systems. So if I was looked up my IP would terminate in VA or NY. I think our US ISP for our VSATs are Level 3 that's just State Side. From Afghan it gets shot to our hub in Germany then goes over fiber to our ISP which is in the US. For more stationary folk it might be a better measuring tool just not one I would completely trust.
