You have no idea. As leader of my faction and I have been opposed to an FBS move for years. But with the shifting land scape it has become a more viable option with the SBC being the best option. Mainly because they are the only one slightly interested in us. Having App St gives us a nice geographic rival, plus they really get all bent out of shape when we play them. It's fun to watch.
The Powers That Be will not let money stand in the way of achieving this goal. (Even if they have to team with a modern day Elmer Gantry to raise the money.) short of offering Stripping 101 as an elective LU will pony up whatever the SBC asks for

I couldn't imagine that being a problem at all. I would absolutely love to be in the same conference as Mo State.

General question. How would you guys feel if Liberty offered to pay a sizable entrance fee to get into the SB conference? What would be a reasonable amount? I'm not sure what the fee is currently, but I could see Liberty helping offset some of the travel cost for the Western teams for a set time period. If this were to happen I don't think it would be made public knowledge.

Don't quote me but I believe Sun Belt entrance fee is one million. This is what I believe Georgia Southern & AppSt had to pay to join. I do not know if this fee was due to the Sun Belt from GS & AppSt when they announced last year or if by the date that both offically join the Sun Belt which is coming up in the next several weeks.

Entrance fee to the Sun Belt when App State and Georgia Southern announced their move in March of 2013 was $1 million. I would guess it will be the same for the 12th football member. App State's entrance-fee payment is spread out over a three-year period.

Georgia Southern AD was scheaduled to be at a Coaches Caravan Tour stop last night. We have one poster on our site that was at that meeting last night, still waiting on his report from that meeting. If in fact the AD was at this meeting there is now way he could have been in Santa Monica.
