Gary Johnson @Sunbelt insider
Missouri State President says he and his board has had no conversations with the Sun Belt Conference and no one has been to their campus.

Does EKU really have shot at the SBC invite? I've looked at pics of their facilities and it's like a 1960's time warp. I'm really not seeing how they have a leg up on us. On the SBC board they are pushing it as a viable candidate.

Most of the posters on the SBC board HATE LU and now that they realize JMU and Mo St are out they're panicking and trying to come up with other FCS schools in their general footprint instead of us. They would rather invite a non-football school that would start football when they joined the Sun Belt before inviting LU. Thankfully people on the boards don't make the decisions.

I've been to their campus a number of times. They would need to invest in the area of $75,000,000 to be up to par with other sunbelt schools. The baseball field is worse than many high school fields in my area. It's been 40 years since that football Stadium has undergone significant renovations. I just don't see how it happens for EKU.

Since there is no news yet today I figured we could have fun with some wild speculation.....

since we do so every other day...

A "liberty university" registered airplane (NOT JLFJR's) flew into JMU's nearest airport today. Should we speculate we have something in the works with them?

Sorry, I'm bored...

Is there a public website to find this info out?

Y"all do know that there is such a thing as telephone and video conference calls just something else to think about. Both are cheaper than flying and more cost effective. Also both of these types of communication do not cause near as much internet chatter on message boards.

Valleyboy still has not idea what is going to happen in the next several weeks.

Nahhhhhh, we only hang our hats on visual cues like student planes flying to other schools regions...

I would be most interested in any flights between Lynchburg & Montgomery, AL. Of course that could be done much more cost effectively through US Airways.

But you run a 50/50 risk of your flight from Charlotte to Lynchburg being cancelled
