Is men's head officials a HP grad, yes. Did HP get to play on Friday night when every other team played on Saturday, meaning HP got extra day of rest for tournament, yes. John Brown was academically ineleigble per NCAA rules as a freshman, therefore he should pay his own way as a freshman, do you actually think he did? Allen Chaney is 27 years old, VT doctors said no way he should play, but HP doctors said it's okay?? Thankfully he didn't die. Last week of the season HP had 2 home games, yes, that shouldn't happen, 1 road 1 home to finish the season. Who played in the most ESPN U games, HP.

Excuse me Dingaling, POW week was Wallace, FOW was Perez for the final week.

Karl Hess never called an LU game as long as I been watching. Not sure how far you go back PH. Maybe in the 80's pre Big South days.

Continue to watch in the coming years and I will come back these post eventually.
FOW of the week for the final week was Keon Johnson of Winthrop...

Also, Liberty played 2 home games in the final week...so that shouldn't have happened either? 4 teams played 2 home games the final week, 4 teams played two roadies, and 4 teams played one of each. HPU was one of those teams. Maybe the League was just trying to mask its HPU favoritism by including three other teams (including Liberty) in this huge advantage of two home games during the last week.

HPU played in 2 of the 4 ESPNU games that the Big South had...so did Radford...so did Campbell. Again, nice work by the Big South to hide that favoritism by letting RU and CU in on the TV fun.

Oh snap!

Here is some mediocrity for y'all:

First Round:
LU over WU
RU over PC
CSU over CU
GWU over LW

Quarterfinals:
HPU over LU
UNCA over RU
CCU over CSU
GWU over VMI

Semifinals:
UNCA over HPU
CCU over GWU

Championship:
CCU over UNCA

You have a tightly bunched group of teams that can win the title. Having the home court advantage in such a situation is a huge advantage, one I think CCU will capitalize on and win the title and right to travel to Dayton for a play-in game.

I could see Winthrop. Not so sure CSU can do it without Nimley.

CSU has seemingly figured something out with its rotation. Strickland playing exclusively at the point. And they defended and rebounded well down the stretch yesterday. I guess CSU is the only team left that can be considered a Cinderella. I wouldn't throw Winthrop in that category.

Yeah, if you take CSU out of the mix, the other 7 teams all finished 10-6 or better in the conference...hard to be a Cinderella when you're winning about 2/3 of your conference games or more.

Andre Smith's last-second desperation 3-pointer that won the game for Winthrop over High Point was the #1 Play of the Day for ESPN's SportsCenter today.

Winthrop runs out of luck and gas vs CCU.

Coastal flew under the radar most of the year, the Cameron kid and Gillis had a super tournament. Plus there size is somewhat overwhelming to most the Big South schools. Will Cliff retire now?? Doubt it, he will be picked first next season.
