He brings things to the table our other guards don´t, and we are a better team with him in there if he takes care of the ball. Problem is, he too often does not. 6 turnovers in 27 minutes from your PG isn´t going to win many games. We outshot Radford from the field and from 3 and outrebounded them by 7. Turnovers cost us this game, and Joe was the biggest offender.
It's not like the person playing point was doing much better most games. To counter that argument I would say had Retic been inserted earlier in the season he would be used to game pressure and would have been more reliable in a big game.

TOs and missed foul shots have cost us several games.

The foul shooting thing is weird because we don´t shoot fouls that badly overall in spite of having a sub 50% guy in Coronado, yet we have had 2 or 3 games when we were horrible, and it literally cost us the game.

This is no longer a program. It is simply a revenue expense for Jerry that props up an underachieving AD & team.

Please don't call your positions intelligent. Other than the money that Jerry has put into the infrastructure of campus athletic facilities to prop up a perception of advancement programs have gone south. MBB is a trainwreck period. We have more losses than we have community supporters in the stands. And guys like you have no clue how to build a Lego toy, parade around with other clowns openly attacking anyone who sees the wasted money in the JB administration as failure. Well live in your little club of 5-7 self proclaimed "LU loyalists" who fight for ideals of greatness yet in reality are cornerstones for the short sighted political positioning that is unable to even be competitive in a conference they double most in resources. Look at the stands, look at the standings....ding, ding, ding.

Ummm, just to clarify, can you name some people who think this basketball program IS wildly successful? :dontgetit You also make it sound like if we only fired the AD and kept DL things would immediately turn around. Would you care to expound on that or are you still on your self proclaimed hiatus from answering questions?

Just listen to how many, "We may lose our recruits", "DL's model is a better way". "JB is a great AD"....this has been a 7 yr downward spiral of expensive cosmetics. Where is the substance, where are the enthusiastic supporters? Listen to the locals, what they say. People with no agenda who would be involved see through the bs to what is really poor community effective interaction, lackluster scheduling and pathetic performance. We have $$$, we have facilities, we have opportunity. No change will mean no change..it is all about leadership.

You must be referring to the voids in your head. I haven't read anyone advocating keeping DL solely because we may lose recruits. DL's model is better than what? You need context with that son. As for JB he was brought in to do one job: get us into and FBS conference. And considering that's probably going to happen, he's done his job.
So again, other than the voices in your head, you have no evidence of people saying what you are saying. But it does appear you feel if only JB were gone all of our coaches and teams would immediately be successful.

Our AD is doing a good job. We are fortunate to have him. A change is needed in MBB program. There is no excuse for LU to lose to RU, ever.

You'll have to take that up with Lifer. He thinks if only the AD were gone every coach would be successful.

He was hired to help us make the move to FBS. We are on the cusp of that now. Therefore he has done a good job.
