It's a very tough pool but Portugal and Ghana are very winnable matches. If we can go 1-1-1, and Germany can win out, I think we'll have a good shot at advancing. It could be worse, we could be in pool B.
Yep. Pretty tough. Not the quintessential 'group of death,' but definitely the 'group of life support.'
I agree that we have to have a win against Ghana, draw against Portugal, and then hope Germany has 6 points heading into the game with us. Maybe they will go easy on Jurgen's boys (yeah, right) and we can sneak out of the group on goal differential.
Of course another of these stadiums that are being thrown up could collapse and eliminate a few teams. What a horrendous situation to have Brazil trying to do too much at the same time.
Yeah, I have to give credit to Brazil for trying though. World Cup followed by the Olympics is pretty tough for any nation, but especially one that is emerging.
