I would but that would be stupid because that is obvious and very simplistic as I said above. TG talked about starting fast and that will hold true again. One other thing is in the last two games against CCU, we have had a huge run. In 09 we scored 55 straight points, and two years ago we scored 42 straight. In the two losses the last four years, CCU scored 14 straight and 24 straight. In short, start fast and don't take the foot off the gas.

That is true...which is why we need to be decisive from the get go again. CCU has been hit in the mouth, but nobody has really given the "knockout blow" yet. the fact that they play G-W the week prior so our guys can get a look at them in addition to the no doubt copious amounts of film study that will be taking place these next couple weeks.

I agree, GW on the road will be a huge challenge.
Going to a game at GWU is about like attending a high school game. The crowd is quiet and the atmosphere unexciting. I would love to see us fill the visitors stands with a loud, red clad bunch to boost the excitment for our guys.

It's about 3 hours or so from L'burg. Hope alot of kids will make the trip.

That's great news! With a few Coastal fans we may be looking at 20,000. That would be exciting! With Coastal ranked #6, I'm sure a lot Chanticleers will be there.

Hopefully our homecoming crowd will be as loud as ODU's, someone said ODU's was 5 times louder than us. I know -we have a lot to learn from ODU. But I hope we continue "our tradition" of welcoming and thanking fans from opposing schools for making the long drive to the Burg ..... GO FLAMES! BEAT COASTAL! :football

ODU was loud at points but I have heard the Bill much louder... And thanks was not what I was hearing on the way out of Forman field last weekend...

Duke you said this in the "for those that went to the game" thread when ask about ODU?

"Atmosphere and production were outstanding. Y'all's staff treated us great. Obviously you are somewhat limited by your facility, but that will change. Your 20,000 is 5 times louder and more football aware than our 17,000 ever is. We could learn some things from y'all as fans."

I'm not sure about that one.

We have decibal readings now on the scoreboard...although the graphic with the soundwave sign makes it hard to understand. All that we need is the word DECIBALS and a large digital number that takes up the entire scoreboard. That way we could know how loud we are yelling.

If they put the word "DECIBALS" on the scoreboard someone should be fired!
I could live with "DECIBELS", however.
