I'm both!!! :x

Geez. I'm going to bang my head in the dashboard all the way home from this one.
I couldn't do it, I would be on suicide watch. :)
This is the BEST time to be a Cubs fan....because we are still hopeful for next year without worrying about how badly we are playing THIS year

The other thing about this game is we miss out on at least 3000 people for homecoming in two weeks. With this win and two weeks to hype up homecoming vs possible Top 10 Coastal we would've easily topped 20k. It'll be a typical 17,000 now.

Have to agree- our fans are as wacko as some of those kooks at JMU. I knew that we weren't going to get blown out of the water, but many of you predicted that. Then we come a dropped INT from a win and we suck... are total failures... will never succeed. GET A GRIP!

I first attended Liberty in 1980. I very quickly became a Flames Fan. I've been to many, many games over the years. Some have brought extreme joy after a win. Others have caused the disappointment I feel this evening. But one thing has NEVER changed. I am a Flames Fan! I love them when they win and I love them when they lose. I drive 3 hours to attend each home game and attend many away games as well.

As I have said before, rarely do you find a team at any level that wins every game they play. I believe that we are a program on the rise, and that with a few more years to recruit, that Turner Gill will help us achive the desired emotion after games like this one tonight.

I turned on the game when I got back from a trip to the beach with my parents, the wife and the baby and I was thrilled to see us up 17-7 and was looking forward to celebrating a statement victory. I go to prepare to do the dinner dishes and watch the go-ahead touchdown and I wanted to throw my computer. Im not one to play "what if" games and don't intend to. What I WILL comment on is how I wanted to tear my hair out on what is a basic defensive play, KNOWING that all they needed was a FG and not keeping in front of a receiver and at the VERY least, forcing him out of bounds so that even if he DID throw it to that receiver, that it would result in a penalty at best.

I am not going to be happy tonight but we better go out and destroy Coastal on homecoming in two weeks, especially considering that will be the first home football game I will not be attending in 11 years because I am working a wedding and getting paid so that I can take care of my family is a WHOLE lot more important than a game but that does not mean that I do not sincerely hope that they prove my prediction VERY wrong.

Earlier this week, the great and wise Benjamin James Williams summed up Liberty in one sentence:

I'm not saying I disagree with you. What I am saying is that THIS game is what our program has ALWAYS been. We missed a GOLDEN opportunity to change the culture of this team and athletic department tonight. We won't have this type of opportunity again for at least another year. Unless we WIN a game in the play offs

Yes. Yes I did. Because even if we end up with a 3way tie for first people will say 'Look, we are awesome' yet we haven't proved anything. We need to, you know, actually WIN something.

I think he can be the right guy. I'm starting to believe there may need to be some staff changes if he wants to take us to the next step.

I am disappointed. You begin to wonder after losing so many close games... After building a tradition of losing close games... Is this an attitude or culture problem? Do our players as individuals have a "winner's" attitude?

I want results. LU: do it or don't.

You know what they say about a good loser? :)
I have a sneaking suspicion it was things like this that soured both members of Jayhawk Football Nation. But from a coaching perspective, especially at LU, it is spot friggin on

I can't say you are wrong. Or at least hope they are learning on the job.

Everyone loves gill as a spiritual leader way more than rocco and several of our other coaches. Nothing will change that. He and layer are in the same boat. Great men of God but they have to win too.

I think Layer's seat is a lot warner than Gill's
