I wish our offense had that kind of talent.Purple Haize wrote:Do you really think it was our defensive strategy to let them rack up yards between the 20's and then not break? Com on my friend, the only reason we played good inside the red zone is because Hieny ran out of room to pass, it was harder for their receivers to get open by 10 yards.flameshaw wrote:Bottom line we were outplayed most of the game. We were fortunate enough to get some turnovers and make just enough plays to stay in the game. But it hurts to get so close and choke once again. We should have had 3 more interceptions for touchdowns, but the reason they are defensive backs is because they can't catch.Disagree with the first part. We had a very good defensive strategy against this type of offense. Let them rack up the yards between the 20's and buckle in the red zone. They couldn't run it in. I thought it was a great D game plan
Woodrum is not a take charge confident player like the QB's we have played this year either. He is horrible at throwing the long pass. Unfortunately, we don't have anyone to push him either.
Now on offense, I still like Woodrum. But he doesn't call the plays. And since we have a bye week.......
