These are athletic facilities from what I have now heard from a couple of sources.I would have thought both the Football Stadium and/or Arena would be athletic facilities. Unless we are making them Multipurpose Facilities for the Geometry Club and Hermaneutics Society

If I can't say something I know in public I don't even mention I know it. What's the point? (paging SJ)

Soup? Cereal? If we wanna be UVA South we need the grassy knoll. Expand FOC on both sides, put the visiting lockers there then grass and grade the other side. Presto. Awesomeness
I was sitting at the game with the wife last night and was looking at the opponent locker room and flag side of the stadium and was really seeing how big the Bill could get when bowled in, kind of got me pumped up for the future!

jinxy wrote:The speakers at the stadium were new as well. Sounded great but its hard not to dream about how loud the bill could be if it was closed in. We lose a lot of sound over there. How about a home liberty owned golf course. That would be sweetIf i was one of the advertisers on the scoreboard/video board I would be concerned about the placement of the speakers. Unless they want their signs partially to fully obstructed, in which case never mind.
BJWilliams wrote:that camera is for getting the end zone shots that you can't get from the FOC end so unless somebody wants to pony up for a new locker room and a camera well that can be built around when the south end gets closed in, that scaffolding is probably the best we are going to get for those north-facing shots.Hot air balloon. You could sell advertising space!
BJWilliams wrote:Novel idea for ad space but I think the shot angle would be too high, and it would be a safety hazard over University BoulevardHow high do you think it would go?
Purple Haize wrote:My guess is to get even a good shot angle it would have to clear the flagpoles at the minimum based on the size of the average hot air balloon.BJWilliams wrote:Novel idea for ad space but I think the shot angle would be too high, and it would be a safety hazard over University BoulevardHow high do you think it would go?
BJWilliams wrote:Naturally...who in their right mind would seriously use a hot air balloon for getting end zone shotsI most certainly would. Dream big.
