what facts? good players now go to good colleges?

there aren't any facts in regards to what will happen. because it hasn't happened. only market analysis which alot has been done and is readily available to anyone to look at as a result of the ed obannon case. they could be wrong, but i find their analysis a bit more valid than some internet troll. you keep talking about the top 500 players coming out of hs. you realize that fills up 10 rosters right? there are hundreds and hundreds of players that within 1 year of college outshine many of those 3,4, and 5 stars. you realize that many of those top recruites are complete busts right? you realize that usually in nfl drafts, less than half of 1st and 2nd round draft pics were 4 and 5 stars out of hs right? hs rankings don't matter after the first, maybe 2nd year. you'll have to do away with switching schools...pick one and you are stuck. either way it changes things greatly.

and even top 100 players go all over the board int he big conferences. not just the big guys. well whatever your definition of big guys is.

your "facts" are irrelevant.

the rich get richer now, but there is still plenty of room for the rich to just completely take over.

Agreed. I also think that every student-athlete should major (or minor) in business administration or sports administration to understand how to market themselves as a professional and also learn how to budget their money.

Even the ones who have no shot at playing sports professionally? Seems a bit short-sighted.

Al they dd was disable the search box, not the function. just add /search/search_term to do a search. but they did go in and disable the link between player name and jersey. doing that with the search term clowney no longer brings up anything, for example.

Not every school has that as major and/or minor...

Yeah, I feel like majoring or minoring in business administraton would have been a gigantic waste of time and money for me, especially as a track/cross country runner at LU. Only a small handful of distance runners in this country make a living in the sport.
As they say, "Most of us will be going pro in something else."

Exactly. Besides, as far as I know, just about any school with a business program will offer marketing classes and a personal finance class anyways.
