For whatever reason I can't get into Wheadon's stuff. I may be one of the few who hated Cabin in the Woods. I still haven't found a summer blockbuster worth seeing which isn't normal for me. Maybe I'll go see This Is The End eventually.

Everyone with whom I have spoken who saw This is the End has called it awful.

Sly Jr. is still dying to see Man of Steel after being less than enthusiastic about Monsters University. It is tough to find time for movies these days.

+8.6 million
+1 (I guess that makes the running total 8,600,001.)

A friend of mine from high school was a regular in his show, "Dollhouse." He seemed to have enjoyed working with him. I don't know what that says but it doesn't seem to be a surprise that he has a lot of repeat actors show up in his productions. Seems to be easy to work with for actors for the most part.

Seems to be the case. His rendition of Much Ado About Nothing features Amy Acker (Angel, Dollhouse, Cabin in the Woods), Alexis Denisof (Buffy, Angel, Dollhouse, Avengers), and Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Serenity, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog). I've heard several actresses say that they like working with him because they feel he writes the most consistently good female characters.

I'm interested to see if he can pull of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series without Fox pulling the plug early.

It's odd to look at Whedon's credits and realize he was on the team that did the screenplay for Toy Story.

If Fox pulls the plug we will truly know that Rupert Murdoch is the evil emperor pulling all of the strings in entertainment because the show is supposed to be on Disney owned ABC. :) That being said, yeah, it's funny to see his name on the credits for Toy Story each time my son watches it.

I've heard from a few people that it was really funny. Reviews were generally positive (84% on Rotten Tomatoes). I may just wait for it to hit Redbox.
