I never read his books but got my dad into them. Did he wrap things up with that series or were things left hanging?

I know he wanted to start making the books into movies, but was having difficulty because they were too conservative. I imagine they'll now get made and will be bastardized the way the Bourne series was.

IMO, the last few books he put out could have wrapped up. I think he put one or two out since he was first diagnosed
As for movies, Olympus Has Fallen and White House Down seem to draw story lines from his first book. Which was AWESOME. You need to pick up the first one and you will be hooked.
