I do love Reggie Miller doing color commentary!
That perplexed me, too. Does no one see a danger of bias in the commentary of a man whose jersey hangs in the rafters of one the team playing in the game upon which he is commentating?
nothing they've done this far as even hinted at favoritism. to the point where to be honest, i haven't even thought of it.

Unless they are broadcasting for one team in particular, if you cant tell which side the announcers are on, then they are doing a good job.

Reggie Miller does a great job staying neutral which I am sure is hard at times...

With that said I don't see the Heat beating the Spurs...Nobody the Heat have played in the playoffs come close to what the Spurs have. I say Spurs in 6.

If the finals were 2-2-1-1-1, like they should be, then I'd take the Spurs in 6. I just don't see them winning either all 3 in a row at home or 2 at Miami. Heat in 7.

I could very well be completely wrong, but the Heat have proven very little in these playoffs. Aside from Lebron, the Heat take entire quarters, halfs and even whole games off. It is why the Pacers were able to take it 7. You can get away with it against a young, inexperienced team like the Pacers who will and did make their share of mistakes, but you can not do that against the Spurs and expect to win.

Either way, it should be a good series

the difference in the indiana game for me was the 6 games of hibbert. the heat make their living off the wade/lebron drive shoot and either dump it off. both settled for alot of jump shots instead of going to the rack because of hibbert....until that last game. now they've got 2 honkey's in the middle and grampa duncan. i think they can execute that game plan pretty well against the spurs. the difference for me is the heat D. if they can play lockdown for the series they can win.

But Duncan is better than any player the Pacers had. So is Parker for that matter. Heck one could argue a healthy Ginobili would be the best player on the Pacers.

The key to me is will Splitter, Diaw, and maybe Blair be enough of an offensive threat or an offensive rebounding threat to force the Heat to play big? And will DeJuan Blair get any PT? He thrives on offensive rebounding and the Heat got thoroughly exposed on offensive rebounds.

Indiana doesn't have a Kawhi Leonard level perimeter defender. He could be the difference maker in the finals.

he's certainly better than what we normally get out of roy hibbert overall and generally is a better defender but he isn't the center on the floor most of the time. AND hibbert played differently for those 6 games. lebron/wade will not stop attacking the rim in this series. get ready for alot of the "WHAAAAT FOUL" duncan face.

the spurs certainly have more talent than the pacers thats not in question. the question in do they have anyone who can regularly force lebron and wade (specifically lebron) to settle for jumpers instead of getting in the lane. hibbert and west did it really well that last series.

this series is going to be fun to watch. Both teams are playing well and the refs are letting them play. Loving it.

And Joey Crawford is a ref for game 2 tonight. Heat got this W wrapped up now. All they have to do is show up to the game and not completely suck.

Joey Crawford working tonight's game. It'll be 1-1 and Duncan will get a bunch of questionable calls against him. Also, Lebron will foul out.

Long live Joey Crawford.

There's a lot in Miami that I would rather do then watch a blow out!

When Miami can get out and run they are tough to stop. The best way to stop them from running is to actually make shots. Why is Duncan fading away? Ugh.

watched the tail end of the game during commercials. since Braves and USMNT were taking most of my attention. I'd like to see the spurs take this one at home. 85% of game 3 winners go on to win the finals if the series was tied 1-1.

The Heat played defense last night like the game plan was to dare Green and Neal to make open and poorly contested three pointers as only three of their makes could really be considered strongly contested.

Steve Javie's pathetic attempts to defend the bad calls by the refs tonight only underscore how awful he was and how the NBA just doesn't get it by having him overseeing the current officials.
