This. They are a complete joke. When Mike Miller is your second best player in a game and he didn't even play until the fourth, your team has problems.

Not sure you can call a hobbled Wade or players going cold on open shots (Allen, Battier) flaws.

At least Wade has the excuse of age and injuries really starting to catch up with him. Bosh has turned into Posh.

i would like to feel bad for wade but for the way he played the bulls man, i really can't. i will feel for lebron though...all the crap aside from him coming to miami, he is on another level and the heat players are better than this and are letting him down.

Agreed. Wade used to be my favorite player on the Heat but over the course of these playoffs I noticed his game and mentality has gone down hill. There are times he just doesn't seem to care and last night was one of them.
As for Bosh, I've always wondered what position or role he plays. He's not an inside scorer or threat. Not a great rebounder. And a much poorer defender then I thought when he came over. The Heat can get one or two players to fill those roles for a whole lot less money then they are paying Bosh.
Win or lose those are issues the Heat need to address. Plus, their chemistry looks awful.

Two things can happen for players who lose their athleticism. They become crafty or they become dirty. Wade isn't smart enough to be crafty so he has become a dirty player.

I would feel bad for lebron, but its impossible for me to do so.

With that said the chances of Indy winning game 7 are slim to none...I hope I am very, very wrong

Spurs win the championship either way.

I think Bosh's inside/rebounding game was much better before Miami. They've intentionally had him playing more away from the basket and it looks like he's completely forgotten what he used to know about post play. This year Bosh attempted 74 3pt shots which is more than twice his highest total from a previous year (35). He put up 3 years of 16/10+ in Toronto, with 4 years over 700 rebounds (501 this year), so he had to know something about rebounding/post play before.

Yeah, I agree with that. IIRC, it was sort of a choice between him and Boozer, Boozer is over rated too, but a better post threat. I really thought Bosh would bring they same interior game on offense AND defense he had in Toronto. But in his defense floating around the perimeter is the only way he touches the ball. So why go down low and bang bodies when you know you won't get rewarded? Again, t goes back to me believing they don't know how they want to use LeBron and it cycled through the rest of the team. With the exception of Battier and Miller, they pretty much know what and why they are there

Since ESPN is clearly focused on the whole gay rights movement they seem to be a bit confused or misguided or both. The guy said motherf'er on live tv and no homo is a homophobic phrase, not a gay slur. I guess you have to do what you gotta do to sell them papes!

The Pacers are playing atrocious ball so far and they're still within 7. If they play well the rest of the way, they could actually pull this out.

They do this in the first half. They like to get the starters rested and hope to a) keep it close and b) hope something crazy doesn't happen. So far so good. Id like to see the lead no bigger then a 6-8 swing but can live with it. It seems to me that Miami is laying it all out there to start and Indiana is holding something back for the 2nd half

Well this game is essentially over with 1:48 to go in the third unless the Pacers can get Bosh and Wade back to their lifeless ways of games 1-6.

Several years ago, the NBA cracked down on players making gestures to officials and talking to them after every alleged missed call. I'd like to see them go back to that.

It's okay, they'll still come up with some way to fine those who prove that the NBA's officials rig games.

I do love Reggie Miller doing color commentary!
That perplexed me, too. Does no one see a danger of bias in the commentary of a man whose jersey hangs in the rafters of one the team playing in the game upon which he is commentating?

No. Dan Dakich is awesome and he's done IU games. Bilas works Duke games.

Miller is just awesome and IMO didn't favor one team over the other

Steve Kerr does games for franchises he played on. What difference does it make if one had their jersey retired?
