Or if Uncle Danny hadn't ran his course here....but sure that is one way to spin it

I am. Wife is doing great. COntractions are about 2 minutes apart right now. Waiting on the doctor to come in and check her dilation and determine if they need to use midication or not. Should be coming in any time now. Will update once baby is here or any other major developments. Keep praying guys!

I would say if his issues at UVA were in the classroom, Richmond might be going from the frying pan to the fire. Norfolk State or Hampton make more sense.

Though made in jest, I dont think he would be able to transfer back up without having to sit out a year (which it seems he will have to do anyway). He would pretty much have to drop down to D2, 3 or NAIA

Actually, it is possible he could. There has been much discussion of this regarding Gunner Kiel possibly coming back to ND (with Gholston now out of the picture), and apparently NCAA rules allow it under some circumstances. For the record, Kiel says he is not interested.

As long as the player has not participated in any football related activities, they can return to the school they were going to transfer from without losing eligibility. So yes, technically Rocco could return but that would require the coaches and school to take him back.

Actually I was serious. I'd have liked to see him play a season with the same coordinator and not having to look over his shoulder. I think he is better than what he's shown.

If he had more than a year left (plus a redshirt year), I think that transferring back to UVa would be a possibility but with him basically having a redshirt year and then 2014, he wont get that much of a shot unless he moves quick to get back into school there and even then its no guarantee what happens to him after that once there

He can transfer back immediately. He doesn't have to sit out. That's what was discovered in the Gunner Kiel/ND discussion. Until the player who transferred actually takes part in some sort of football activity they can transfer back and be immediately eligible. Rocco should be able to step right in and play this year at UVA if they'll take him back.

They'd be silly if they didn't.

Did he enroll at Richmond this spring? If so, He probably was involved in spring practice.

Edit: I see from Sly's post a few up that did enroll as a transfer in residence. Not sure if he participated in any football activities though.
